Knitting: A cosy cowl

I finished my knitted cowl last week! I’m so so happy because it feels like a win on multiple levels: I’ve finished a project, and quite quickly, I’ve used up most of the wool I bought at the Knitting and Stitching Show AND I used my brand new circular knitting needles to do it! Triple threat craft win!

Despite slightly guessing the size the cowl is a great fit – I can wear it loose or snug around my neck and it’s really warm and cosy. I also love how the colour of the wool looks in this design: the yellow/grey mix is really brought out by the moss stitch.

I can only presume one finished project means I can chill for the rest of 2016 right?

    1. Thanks so much! I’m really pleased with it. And I have to say that the needles are just fantastic – no more knotted messes of circular needles stuffed in a bag to untangle! πŸ˜‚
