Valentines is such a great time of year to give photo gifts – whether you capture important life moments, travel, even food that you’ve shared with your beaux you have so many opportunities to make a gift with a little more meaning.
We don’t normally do valentines gifts – we tend to stay in, eat all the steak and drink all the red wine… So I decided to make a little momento of our honeymoon to decorate our flat. We’ve both had major January blues and we’re in dire need of a) sleep b) sun and c) probably a little less ‘medicinal’ wine? so I also wanted to create something that would lift our spirits… until we can actually getaway on a minibreak on some kind.
I ordered a whole load of photo prints from Snapfish. One thing I really love about their service is that you can do it all via your phone. MUCH better than having to upload to a computer or dropbox and then upload all over again to the site. once selected you have all the standard options of which finish you’d like, what size and you can also add borders.
I ordered over 100 photos… just call me snap happy…once they arrived I used a paper template to draw a heart onto the back of each and got cutting. I then used wool taped to the back to create one big long garland.
While on the site I got browsing (naturally). I really love the growing variety of collage products Snapfish now offers. As someone who takes a lot of photos I don’t always want big single prints and it’s great to see that you can add multiple prints to mugs, photo panels and poster prints.
Look how fun and happy my finished garland is!
Snapfish gave me credit to get creative with their photoprints for valentines. As always if I didn’t rate the service I wouldn’t blog about it.
