This year I joined in with #craftblogclub’s Secret Santa and although christmas now feels like months ago I really wanted to share what I sent and received. Craft Blog Club run a twitter chat every Tuesday from 7 – 8:30pm dedicated (obviously) to crafters and craft bloggers. They’re a lovely bunch and I was so pleased to get to meet Fizzy Jayne, one of the hosts, in the real world at The Handmade Fair this year. I love a secret santa so I signed up straight away. You then get sent the details for the person that you’ll be giving to, who won’t be the same person that gives to you so it’s all rather mysterious and exciting.
The person I was assigned for my secret santa was Polly AKA @_forestmermaid – a nature loving creative with a very beautiful blog that you can check out here. As Polly seems to make all sorts of crafts already I decided to make her a christmas stocking decoration and a necklace with purple tones (that fingers crossed, based on my online stalkage of Polly, she will want to wear!)
My secret santa package came from teresa – the maker behind Shirley Rainbow and she completely spoiled me! I had the most wonderful package of treats to open, including; a beautiful handmade badge, a vintage postcard, cute wooden buttons, pretty fabric trimming, a handmade crochet photo frame and some beautiful coasters!
Thank you so much Teresa – I really loved opening up my gift and I can’t wait to put some of the contents to good creative use.
The next #craftblogclub chat of 2016 is on Tuesday 19th january – come and join!
