Festive Makes: 1920s Headpiece

Craft your own gorgeous 1920s headpiece just in time for party season using my tutorial now up on the Minerva Crafts Bloggers network.  I really enjoyed making this as it subtly uses quite a few different ways of working with fabric to create embellishments – suffolk puffs, rolled satin roses and gathered flowers.  I wasn’t actually intending my finished piece to have such a floral focus but I think the monochrome palette adds a little edge. I’m so excited to wear this at one of my Christmas craft events – Wreath Making on December 5th and Giftwrap on December 12th

I’m also completely in love with the diamante buttons – they catch the light and sparkle beautifully!  All the materials for this make came from Minerva Crafts – check them out!
