This autumn is turning out to be a busy busy month for craft events isn’t it! With London Design Festival following hot on the heels of The Handmade Fair, you could find opportunity after opportunity to get your craft and design fix! Here’s another date for your diary: Made London 2015 which runs from 22 – 25 October at One Marylebone, and an exhibition I’m particularly excited about.
If you (like me) love the idea of wandering around a stunning venue, seeing high quality, innovative craftsmanship and people, and possibly even being able to pick up a eye-catching piece or two then Made London is absolutely the show for you.
The exhibition showcases a range of extraordinary designers and makers from the UK and beyond. With content from ceramicists, silversmiths, wood workers, mosaic artists, textile designers, furniture makers, glass blowers and many more this is a really fun diverse exhibition to visit.
I’m always excited when an exhibition or fair is presented in a venue that adds to your experience and One Marylebone, a stunning Sir John Soane Church is guaranteed to please on this front. It’s atmospheric crypt, light filled galleries and beautiful hall are sure to capture as much admiration as the crafts pieces themselves. Instagram opportunity much?
Below are all the details you’ll need to visit this beautiful exhibition. I’ll be writing about the opening too and I can’t wait to explore all these beautiful handcrafted wares myself!
